Who We Are
Welcome to the Allegheny Valley Chamber of Commerce. Our Chamber primarily covers the Route 28 corridor, northeast of Pittsburgh. Our membership is made up of businesses as well as non-profit organizations and individuals. Our Chamber does have membership outside of this primary service area as businesses find value in Chamber membership to advance their growth.
Many exciting things have been taking place in our region! The chamber continues to work to promote economic stability, facilitate growth and development of the business community and its interests, while providing services to create a competitive edge for our members.
The Allegheny Valley Chamber is governed by a 25-member board. Board members are elected by the Chamber membership to a 3-year term. Board members are not permitted to serve more than 2 consecutive terms. There is a wide variety of representation among the board members. This diversity helps the Chamber to keep a finger on the pulse of our members, large and small. The executive committee consisting of the board chair, vice-chair, secretary/treasurer, 2 at-large board members, and the president meet throughout the year as well. Please visit our board of directors page to view the current list of board members.
A number of committees, made up of volunteers, help to organize the activities of the Chamber. There is much to be accomplished throughout the year. We are grateful to our members who bring their unique experiences and resources to the table for the betterment of the entire organization.
